Recall Welcome Letter Logic
In Recall Settings
- Enable Auto invite of 'Welcome Letter/Patient Portal Invite'
- The system will do a check every 30 minutes to see:
- Are there any newly added patients in the PM System (It will check if the patient has an email on file/it will check if the patient was previously sent an Opera patient portal invite by the office, and it will also check to make sure that the patient has not previously had a completed appointment in the past)
If the above checks pass – OperaDDS will the send to the patient
If the above checks fail (do not pass) – OperaDDS will not send anything, as the patient does not qualify for the "Welcome Letter"
Note: To see if a patient has been previously invited to the patient portal, visit their patient profile and you will see this information on the top left of the screen, as seen below.
